# Erreka's strategic

# positioning

ERREKA is a co-operative company founded in 1961, part of the Mondragón Group. Throughout its history it has evolved and diversified its activities, consolidating itself in various industrial sectors.

The company needed to consolidate the evolution of its recurring lines of business and the definition and development of new opportunities. 

 

Challenge:

 Redefining ERREKA's strategic positioning in a changing market, identifying opportunities for expansion and optimisation in different business areas. 

Being necessary its development in parallel for different strategic projects from its conceptualisation to its implementation in the market.

### Solution:

Between 2019 and 2023, we are carrying out different strategic projects and defining new growth paths. 

We detected new business areas, maximising territories of opportunity. 

We developed Erreka Plastics, a feasibility plan to position Contract Manufacturer in the core area of the company. 

We sought strong growth for Erreka Accesos, contemplating both organic and inorganic solutions, in order to reach new annual turnover targets. 

We redefined Erreka Smart Fastening's positioning strategy to broaden its scope and diversify its business, focusing on offshore wind farm installations and defining its implementation model. 

We integrated within Erreka Care a new development opportunity defined in the company's offer: Silver Economy.
