Grupo Jorge required a solution that would allow it to identify all cases and assess the degree of development of the disease in order to identify patterns and trends that would allow it to take action to prevent and mitigate infections on farms.

Solution:

We developed a platform to diagnose and evaluate 2 types of diseases (Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae - Mh and Pleuritis - Ep) using an AI algorithm that processes photographs of the lungs circulating through the carcass of the slaughterhouse cutting line.

The system stores tens of thousands of photos on a daily basis, which are continuously classified and a diagnosis is issued for all animals, identifying positive cases and the degree of disease development.

The solution provides valuable information on animal health according to the origin of the animals (own or third-party farms) and facilitates decision making regarding possible mass vaccinations and/or specific actions on certain farms.
