Semillas Fitó is a Spanish multinational company and one of the leaders in the sector of genetics, production, and distribution of horticultural and extensive crop seeds. Semillas Fitó, through the spin-off Foodture, creates special varieties of horticultural products with distinctive attributes.​

Challenge:

Strategic Platform collaborates with the company by integrating their own team on a stable basis into Foodture's structure to define and expand the opportunity for special varieties, building value categories for the market, and creating leading brands such as Monterosa, Waikiki, Crü, Wabi-Sabi, among others.

Solution:

Definition of the business model of Foodture and its relationship with the actors in the value chain, defining its future role as a creator of horticultural references in the market. ​

Construction of positioning and structuring of fresh fruits and vegetables categories based on differential value attributes, allowing to valorize the product in the market. ​

Definition and expansion of the territory of the most established brands (for example, Monterrosa and Waikiki) to exploit their brand legitimacy beyond the product. ​

Coordinate and activate the internal and external resources necessary to ensure the fulfillment of the objectives, maximize the investment and return for Semillas Fitó, and ensure the speed of launch to capture opportunities.
