opportunity

Aneto is the pioneering and leading brand of 100% natural broth in Spain. It belongs to the Idilia Foods company and is a specialist company with a wide variety of broths made using an exclusive traditional process, with fresh, natural and high quality ingredients. Its marketing channel is exclusively large-scale distribution. 

 

Challenge:

After a period of maximising the broth portfolio, we are challenged to de-seasonalise consumption and explore the opportunity for broth consumption ‘away from home’ by highlighting the company's DNA, knowledge and legitimacy.

Solution:


In 2022 we launched the Foodservice business unit and defined the portfolio of products, formats and value services for each customer segment. We also identified the value network of the new business (suppliers, distributors, customer segments, etc.) and investments were made to expand production capacity. We defined a detailed action plan for the development and implementation of the OOH business unit. Between 2022 and 2023, investments were made to expand production capacity and by 2023, 20% of production was already destined for the Food Service channel.
