# **Crunch & Fresh: ****New Category of Animal Protein Products – Healthy Breaded Options**

Cárnicas Serrano is a food company specialising in meat-based products. Its mission is to inspire consumers to adopt healthy lifestyle habits by promoting a balance between good nutrition and regular physical activity.

Challenge:

In response to the growing demand for healthy and convenient food options, Cárnicas Serrano faced the challenge of developing an alternative to traditional frying that would preserve the sensory appeal of their products without compromising on quality or nutritional value.

### Solution:

Launch of a new product category: Crunch & Fresh. This product line features a lower calorie content thanks to the design of new coatings and gluten-free flours that enable quick cooking methods without the need for oil, such as baking or air frying. In this way, the brand continues its diversification and enters the segment of refrigerated breaded meats while staying true to its core principles of “health, convenience, and pleasure.”
